Our unit carries out the necessary arrangements and studies for Tarsus University students who need different health, education, rehabilitation, devices, orthoses, prostheses, environmental arrangements and other social and economic rights and services due to physical, sensory or developmental functional limitations to study at our university with an inclusive perspective. In this direction, it has been adopted as a principle that our students with special needs take their place in society by receiving higher education at our university and prepare for life as individuals who work actively and participate in social life.

In line with these principles, our main objectives are;
To determine the needs of our students regarding education, training, scholarship, administrative, physical, accommodation, social and similar areas and to provide solution suggestions in order to determine the measures to be taken to meet these needs
To determine the situations and problems of students with special needs/academic-administrative personnel and to conduct research on solutions to their problems
To make the necessary arrangements for barrier-free and equal education at our university in coordination with other units or departments in the university
To develop programs and projects to increase the level of awareness and sensitivity in the field of accessibility; to organize seminars, conferences and similar activities
To take measures to ensure that studies are carried out on the preparation of informative books on employment opportunities and professions and that these are delivered to students with special needs
To cooperate with other institutions and organizations on issues related to accessibility and special needs.
